Everton & Idrissa Gueye
Have Everton simply forgotten to report good news to their fan base?
Everton fans are sharing news on social media on Monday that influential midfielder Idrissa Gueye has agreed a new deal with the Toffees.
The whole story is bizarre as there has been no mention from Everton, or Gueye for that matter, on any new contract.
Yet on the FA’s official website it’s revealed that Idrissa Gueye has agreed to a new five-year deal with Everton which would see him earn £75,000-a-week.
Although the Toffees never announced the deal, the papers were lodged with the FA on October 27.
Gueye will remain at Goodison Park until 2022.
Everton fans react badly
Everton fans are struggling to understand how their club works sometimes.
Despite Everton not officially announcing it, the Football Association have confirmed that Idrissa Gana Gueye signed a new 5-year contract with Everton on 26th October 2017, keeping him at the club until 2022. pic.twitter.com/ekYTVnuCek

Makes no sense from the club to not mention Gueye signing a new contract.

Not announcing Gueye? Literally how does that happen?

Everton & Premier League
The Toffees have 34 points after 27 games this season, and they are in touching distance of securing their top flight status for another season.
Everton return to action on February 24 with an away trip to Watford’s Vicarage Road in the Premier League.
There’s a chance that Ramiro Funes Mori could return for Everton for the Watford match after he played for the under-23.
Seamus Coleman, however, is suffering with a fresh injury after his long layoff.
