Ten Man United senior players 3/1 or shorter for summer exits
Jose Mourinho could be about to send up to TEN first-team players packing, according to Ladbrokes.
Plenty of Man United stars have been linked with moves away from Old Trafford over the last few months, and the bookies have responded by making 10 players 3/1 or shorter to leave the club before the summer transfer window slams shut.
As things stand Zlatan Ibrahimovic (1/10) is the most likely man for a transfer, although he’s just one of six players currently ODDS-ON for a switch.
Bookies expecting Man United exodus
David de Gea is 5/2 to finally leave the club, while 13/5 says £79m man Paul Pogba is heading for a summer exit.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “United are some way off the pace in the Premier League, and the odds suggest Mourinho will make drastic changes to his squad at the next chance he gets.”
10 most likely players to leave Man United before the end of the summer transfer window
Zlatan Ibrahimovic – 1/10
Matteo Darmian – 1/3
Chris Smalling – 1/2
Phil Jones – 1/2
Daley Blind – 4/6
Marouane Fellaini – 10/11
Luke Shaw – 2/1
Paul Pogba – 13/5
David de Gea – 5/2
Anthony Martial – 3/1
Surely Mourinho won’t sell this many players!
Whilst it would be no surprise to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Matteo Darmian leave Old Trafford this summer, every club has players that are on the fringes of the first team. For one reason or another.
Chris Smalling and Phil Jones may be the butt of the jokes right now, but they could still be very useful squad players.
Meanwhile, Daley Blind is barely getting a sniff of the first team squad at Manchester United and Marouane Fellaini is out of contract come the end of the season.
Luke Shaw started at Huddersfield on Saturday. And any of David De Gea, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial would attract sensational transfer fees in the current market.
Despite the Ladbrokes suggestions, Manchester United fans can rest easy…
