Amy Schumer is setting the record straight after her surprise wedding on Tuesday.
Schumer, 36, took to Instagram on Thursday to address speculation about why she married boyfriend Chris Fischer after just a few months of dating.
“No I am not pregnant,” she wrote.
Schumer and Fischer tied the knot in a private ceremony in a house overlooking the ocean in Malibu, California. The two exchanged vows in front of about 80 people, including Jake Gyllenhaal and Jennifer Lawrence.
Along with debunking any rumors, Schumer also asked that in place of traditional of gifts, people consider donating to Everytown, an organization working toward stricter gun laws.
“And no gifts but thank you for asking. Instead please consider donation to everytown for gun safety. I thought about Mayce and Jillian a lot yesterday and sending love to everyone who has been affected by gun violence,” she wrote, referencing two victims of the 2015 shooting during a screening of Schumer’s film Trainwreck.
The comedian also posted a series of photos from the wedding to her Instagram, showing off her wedding dress and romantic venue.
Schumer and Fischer were first spotted together in November of last year, chatting together over dinner in New York City.
Days before their nuptials, the actress and chef made their relationship social media official with a kissing photo on Instagram.
