Apparently, I need a template to drag out every time I need to do a morning post announcing that we’re once again doing the show under the cloud of a mass shooting.
Here we go, again. And once again, it might not even be the biggest news item of the day.
Sigh.
OK, morning radio mode: Engage.
Listen right here at 9:00 AM ET!
Oh, hey, BIG NEWS on the podcast front! There’s a new podcast platform in town, and the big news is: this one pays! RadioPublic pays podcast producers on a CPM basis, for listens on their native app (available for iPhones & Androids), financed by pre- and post-roll ads they insert. Not a bad way to support the show, with somebody else’s money!
So if you’re a podcast listener, this is your new destination! Yes, you can still download directly from their site. But it’s listens in their app that count toward payment.
Nothing changes on our end. It’s still Greg Dworkin, Joan McCarter, and even Armando. Plus also, me. And you! As always, we still want your voice on the air with us. Sit down with your smart phone or other electronic recording device and send us your stories and commentary to share with the audience. There’s no easier way to try your hand at podcasting, without all the hassle!
Of course there’s no substitute for having your support via Patreon, or one-time contributions via Square Cash. (And hey, if you want a cool trick for donating sorta-kinda cost free, get their cash.me app and use this share code to get $5 in your account (plus $5 in mine) when you send your first $5 (to anyone)!
For now, how about one on the house? Here’s what we did last time out, on our LIVE show:

This Valentine’s Day, Why not show your loved ones you really care, with a gift of Kagro in the Morning? Some would budget out a month or two of income, but we understand if you want to start out “small”… Today, KITM presents you with a bouquet of talent: David Waldman, Greg Dworkin, Armando and Joan McCarter: The ultimate wingman, Trump Lawyer Michael Cohen paid $130,000 out of his own pocket to Stormy Daniels but was too much of a gentleman to get into details. Armando suggests we look back to John Edwards’ romantic history. Corruption and incompetence remain an inseparable couple in the White House. John Kelly is “a big fat liar” say the White House staff, but they can’t guarantee that they speak the truth either. No one will play nice when their boss doesn’t want them to. We now know what they knew, but when did they know it? Donald is set to sign a sex assault bill today in case there is anyone left in the world that missed the irony. The White House security clearance process is broken, which is OK by Jared, he needs the money. David and Greg pore over the numbers to determine if Trump alone will carry us to victory or if we still need to do something. First thing to do in 2019: fix ICE. Right now we need to fix DACA. Just don’t call it “the Hastert Rule”. The Republicans turn the Senate immigration debate into a campaign rally. Mitch McConnell puts his thumb on the scale, while Democrats need to stand tough, and stick to an up or down vote. Here’s how Idaho is trying to get around Obamacare. If it can happen in Israel, could it happen here? It happened in Israel, and it is happening here. In case you forgot, Donald Trump never stopped violating the emoluments clause, Donald hides his money in plain sight. Trump never forgets ABC: Always Be Closing. Trump finds the cheapest way to get his name on a couple miles of highway. We know who will paint the next presidential portrait.
(Thanks to Scott Anderson for the show summary! Please help me pay him more!)
